Stop in and rent a rod. The Coop's staff will send you on your way with all the information you need to try your luck at Island fishing. Rod rental: $15 per day ($50 deposit required) Tackle bag: $10 per day.

Shore and Boat Charters
Book a trip with one of our U.S.C.G. Licensed captains or experienced shore guides. At Coop's we do our best to make sure that every fishing trip is an enjoyable part of your visit to the Island. Whether you want to bottom fish with the kids on a comfortable beach, fly cast to stripers, or probe the rips off Wasque or Gay Head, we will do our best to provide unforgettable fishing memories. Please remember to calland confirm time and tide with your captain or guide at least 24 hours prior to the day of your trip. If the weather looks questionable please call prior to your trip.

Shore Beach
Charters Fly fishing, spin fishing, and bait fishing.
The time of the trip is approximately four hours. The cost is $200 for one or two people. There is a charge of $50 for each additional person, kids included, and a maximum of four people per guide. Land charters are four hours. A $50 deposit is required to book a trip and deposits will not be refunded for trips cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. We provide all tackle. Our guides are also happy to speak with you beforehand to plan a trip that suits your needs. Trips generally begin in the early evening just before dusk when stripers become active.

Boat Charters

Deposits and Cancellation Policy a deposit of $100 is required to hold the day for boat charters. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the reserved date will be charged the full deposit. Captains reserve the right to cancel due to inclement weather. Coop's is also a booking agent for charter boats around the Island, including large sport fishermen up to 31 feet in length capable of accomodating up to six passengers. Call for inquiries.
